Will this work on Ubuntu?
Yes, as it is a derivative from debian and uses apt-get the script will work.
How does it work?
One word: Magic!
Actually at the moment all the packages are downloaded with apt-get. But in the future it will be possible to add script packages.
How can I add packages?
At the moment you can only download the few packages which are provided by default. I'm working on the feature to add packages manually.
